India's first game in the Asia Cup 2025 was a huge win over the hosts, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at the Dubai International Stadium on September 10 (Wednesday). The UAE was wiped out by them, as they were bowled out for just 57 runs, which is the lowest score ever in a T20I against India. The Indian bowlers were killing it. It was Kuldeep Yadav who stole the show. He played for India in international cricket for the first time since the Champions Trophy in 2025. In this case, he was able to make history.
Kuldeep Yadav got Muhammad Waseem, Rahul Chopra, Harshit Kaushik, and Haider Ali out, giving him a total of 4/7 for the match. With these numbers, he is now the second-best bowler in the history of the Asia Cup T20. When Kuldeep took 4 wickets in just 13 balls, he became the fastest player in the history of the event to do so. Shadab Khan, a spin bowler from Pakistan, held the record before. He took 4 wickets in 17 balls against Hong Kong in 2022.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled the best innings in the history of the Asia Cup T20. He ended with 5/4 against Afghanistan in Dubai in 2022, which is an amazing record.
